This is a good and relaxing bath ritual for when you are feeling a little achy or stressed. Do the bath right before you go to bed so you stay relaxed and go to sleep easily.
What you need:
A sage bundle
4 drops eucalyptus essential oil
3 drops peppermint essential oil
5 drops of lavender essential oil
1 cup Epsom salt (helps your muscles ease up and helps you relax)
A lighter
A white candle
What you do:
Take the sage bundle, light it, and go around your bathroom to purify the space and get rid of negative energy. Tap out the sage bundle until it is extinguished. Light the white candle and sit it in a place where it won't get knocked over or fall over.
Begin running warm (pretty warm but not scalding hot) water in the tub and when it covers the bottom of the tub, pour in the Epsom salt, and put in all of the drops of each essential oil.
When the tub fills up enough where you are able to sit in it and lay back, then turn it off. Get into the tub and lay back and take a few deep breaths through your nose and release them through your mouth. Do this as often as you need to feel yourself begin to relax. Do the breathing exercises with your eyes closed.
When you feel like you can relax, start breathing normally. Keep your eyes closed and take your mind to places you enjoy (beach, mountains, on a lake, in a flower field.. wherever you like). Stay this way and relax at least 20 minutes. If you can stay longer then do so until you are ready to get out. Put more warm water in the bath if you need to.
When you are done, get out of the tub, let the water out, blow out the candle, dry off, and get to bed.
