Read this all first then start.
WHAT YOU NEED:
1. Take something that belongs to that person (hair, something they touch a lot and only belongs to them)
2. black thread (sewing thread is fine)
3. a piece of paper with that persons full name written on it (but first and last name are ok)
4. a black candle (a small soy candle is good as it burns faster)
5. sea salt
6. cauldron or small bowl
WHAT YOU DO:
1. pour sea salt in a circle around the area you will do spell (a small table or floor area) in a quiet private place
2. light the black candle (call your God and/or Goddess to help strengthen the spell if you work with them)
3. take the object the person you want to bind owns and wrap the paper with their name on it around it, or place it on it best you can.
4. take the black thread and wrap it around the object and paper while chanting with each wrap "(person's name) I bind you from doing anymore harm to me, those I love, and yourself.". Say this over and over as you wrap the thread around the object and paper until it is all covered. It is at this point I took the person's hair and paper with thread around it and burned it with the black candle and placed the burning mess into my cauldron and let it burn. You might not can do that if the object you are using isn't burnable or they would miss it. If that is the case, take the object out without untying the paper. Or just tie the paper with their name on it with the object beside it without tying the object up.
5. while the paper is burning in the bowl/cauldron say "This binding is done. SO MOTE IT BE!"
6. when the paper has burned out, take the ashes and bury them somewhere away from your home. You only need a small hole to bury the ashes.
7. let the candle burn all the way down if you can.
Remember: A strong spell is done with strong intention and not necessarily the tools you use. In my opinion, the tools help you direct your energy, words and intention; a visual that helps most witches.
